Feedback gevenWent in a little before 1 on Sunday for lunch. Ordered hush puppies as an appetizer. Good, but sweet. Had an oyster hoagie. Wife had coconut shrimp and a side of fries. Food was fresh and hot. Server was attentive and friendly. Lucky we came in when we did: entire restaurant was reserved at 3 for the Ravens game.
We ordered take out (it was a big order for 7 people), and it was ready within 20 minutes. The food was below average, but it was cheap. I wouldn't choose to eat there again, but it was ok for not having to take my kids out to another restaurant and chase them around the whole time. The woman who took my phone order was very friendly.
Usually I don't leave negative feedback. At the end of this review you will understand why. I work in the food industry so i understand the hard work that goes into preparing a meal and the people that walk into your establishment and make it impossible to work sometimes. I stopped by yesterday and ordered stemamed oysters the basket of fried flounder and the steam pot for two. The food was slightly underseasoned. For dessert I had the killer key lime pie. It tasted like lime flavored cough medicine. 20 percent of the slice was consumed and I asked to not be charged for it because I did not like the mediocrity that went into preparing it. It was brought to the owner's attention and made me pay for it anyway. When I asked for the check Rachel apologized for the inconvenience who provided outstanding customer service up until this point. THIS IS WHAT PISSED ME OFF. Upon me signing the receipt, Rachel glances at the receipt in disgust and looks back at me because i did not leave a tip. I don't leave tips on a credit card because it gets taxed Rachel. If you didn't know, now you know. Then she had the audacity to walk to her car, as I was putting my girls in the car, passes by my car and murmurs to herself but loud enough for me to hear, " so I'm working for free? " or something to that affect. Rachel i was going back to my car to get cash to give it to you in person but i changed my mind after I heard that, you did not deserve it. What you did was childish and inappropriate. I'm never going back again. I should have gone to Mr. Fish's

I 'm visiting from out of town and read all the bad or so so reviews but thought I 'd check this place out for myself since it 's local Myrtle Beach...
