The River Room - Naas

The room is charming and perfect for enjoying a coffee and sandwich. The bar is also fantastic with a wide variety of drinks, and the staff is always friendly.

This is one of the 2 main restaurants within the K Club, it's used for breakfast and for overflow when The Byerley Turk is full. The room, during the day, is beautifully lit by natural sunlight and makes for a great relaxing place for your morning meal. You have a choice between the buffet or menu but both have excellent selections. The tables are nicely separated and the fine linens add to the occasion.

We recently had a family lunch in the Legends restaurant. Everything was okay. However that is the disappointing experience: everything was just okay, nothing was 5 star. The food was nice but slightly overpriced for what we received. The service was okay, the individual staff members were friendly and there was plenty of them however the service was inattentive: food took a long time to arrive, there was a long wait between courses, water glasses were not re-filled etc. This was on a quiet day with only a few other tables dining. Another customer approached the bar to book a table for a group, the staff member 's first comment was we don 't have a table for XXnr ..as opposed to no problem we can arrange some tables to suit which was the secondary comment offered. It just struck me that the K Club has some nice capable staff but perhaps it needs to invest in its people to ensure they can deliver a 5-star service. Unfortunately, for now, our group is thoroughly underwhelmed. PS. I say this on the back of a visit for Afternoon Tea in February which was equally average. They had lost our booking on that occassion! Lisa

The breakfast here is ok as long as you aren't here when a big group or convention is in the hotel. Staff sat us and other couples in an adjoining room because we weren't part of the convention. Unfortunately, they forgot about us. Was definitely better the second morning. Dinner was WAY over priced. Staff seemed rather inconvienced that we were there. Food was mediocre at best.

The food was fantastic, the drinks were top-notch, and the cocktails were excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful in assisting us with our drink selections. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.
