Not a bad Thai restaurant but it falls short in a few important areas. We arrived for dinner during peak hours on a Saturday night and were surprised at the amount of empty tables, usually not a good sign. We had to wait to be seated for a few minutes and it quickly became apparent there was a lack of waiting Staff on the restaurant floor, again, surprising for a Saturday night. The restaurant is spacious and clean. It 's ambience seems more suited to a family meal or for larger groups than for a couple on a romantic night out. There are some pretty fish tanks placed at the centre of the restaurant to keep you interested while you wait and wait and wait some more for service... When the waiting Staff finally arrived, they were courteous and friendly, but there was clearly a shortage of them. We waited far too long to get drinks and place an order. The waiting Staff also seemed a little inexperienced too which didn 't help when understaffed on a Saturday night. We felt sorry for them and we left them a decent tip, but Management are at fault here for not ensuring there is adequate table service. Now for the important stuff: The food! What we ordered was a little inconsistent but overall it was tasty. I ordered Bangkok chicken wings to start. The wings were nice but the portion was on the small side. For the main course, I had the crispy duck with black bean sauce with steamed rice. This was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I was pleasantly surprised as it easily ranked as one of the best cooked crispy duck meals I 've had in a long time, great job chef! My partner ordered spring rolls to start, which were nice but again, a very small portion size. For her main she had the seafood sizzler . This was just ok, the seafood was clearly frozen but the sauce was nice and the accompanying veg was well cooked and fresh. We were both disappointed at the lack of fish options on the menu, especially for a Thai restaurant. Overall our experience was just ok . The lack of service really left us with a bad first impression but the food (especially the duck! helped redeem it somewhat. In terms of value, we felt it wasn 't particularly great given the level of service and smaller than ideal starter portions. We paid over €70 (excl. Tip for two starters and two main courses. We had 2 and half pints of draught beer also. Overall we got the impression that Naasville Thaiger probably sustains itself more on its takeaway business than on the restaurant side of things. I 'd happily order a takeaway from here as the food is good, but we wouldn 't be in a hurry to dine in again given the lack of quality service/value in the restaurant.
Our favourite thai place for takeaways, we especially recommend the pad thai, Singapoore noodles and special fried rice! Food is always delicious and portions are large. Delivery always on time, can't fault them.
One of the best restaurants in the town. The place is very well kept and the staff are extremely friendly and responsive.
The restaurant is peaceful and tidy, with delectable food at reasonable prices. I will certainly return for another visit.
