Feedback gevenI used to frequent the Nackawic Golf Course for their food three years ago and it was fantastic! However, recently I have noticed that the portion sizes have decreased significantly while the prices remain the same. In fact, they are now charging an extra $2.00 for takeout orders, which I find ridiculous. It's not just the portion sizes that bother me, but also the quality of the food itself. A poutine should come with cheese and gravy, right? My family and I have submitted numerous complaints over the past year, but all we received in return was a small portion of our money back in the form of a gift certificate. Due to these issues, we have decided to stop giving our business to the Nackawic Golf Course.
Food is very good. Friendly service and large portion sizes. Prices are very fair. Don't expect to get anything healthy though!
Make a point to visit a couple of times during the summer, usually with guests. The food is standard diner and well prepared. I recommend the Chef ' 's salad. Don 't do well on desserts for some reason.
I am writing to tell you of my experience at your golf club on Saturday, July 22. I have golfed at your club 3 or 4 times a season over the years and have always found it one of my favorite golf courses. The course is always in good condition and it is always a pleasure to play there. The young people you have working there always are curtious, friendly and helpful. Your restaurant is always quick and have excellent meals. This Saturday the day golfing started well with us (4) being booked in by another young great worker. When our game was over we went to the restaurant for a meal. There was one table being served, a man and his son. As we entered 3 or4 fellas entered as we did and took seats. I went to the counter to ask an older lady working there if it was ok to eat outside. I waited 5 minutes with her ignoring me and when I finally spoke up she just looked at me and said sure . My party went outside and waited 15-20 minutes and no one came out to give us menus or to see if we wanted anything. The older lady meanwhile was over serving drinks to the other group in there (a few more had joined them). I decided to go in and see if there was a problem. Again she ignored me and finally I asked one of the young workers if we could be waited on and that we 'd like to eat. The young worker asked the older woman and was told it 'd be at least a half an hour before we could get anything.......there was just that one other group in the club and she was waiting on them regular. We decided to head back to Fredericton and get supper there. When we got to Fredericton I noticed I didn 't have my phone.....I had left it in the golf cart. I immediately called the club as I had just bought the phone and didn 't want to lose it. The same older woman answered and I told her my problem. She said that she was busy and wouldn 't go check to see if my phone was in the golf cart for 5 minutes. I asked her if she would phone me back. She said sure, and I went to give her my phone number but she said she had it on her phone and then She hung up. I waited but didn 't get no call so I headed back to Nackawic. When I got there I went right to the golf cart and my phone was there, lucky. She hadn 't even checked and this was an hour and 10 minutes after I called her.. She was still there but ignored me again when I spoke to her, so I left. I couldn 't and can 't believe how ignorant this woman was. She couldn 't have been any worse if she tried. It 's bad that one employees attitude can ruin a person 's outlook on things, and her attitude sure did. People like her are bad on your business and it would be terrible to see her ways spread to the other workers. First time being there and the food was good. Big portions too. Nice inside and out and great view of the golf course.
