The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, with a traditional tatami room and a casual environment. The food is excellent, especially the karage and the Apple tarte tatin!
Despite being the sole guest during a torrential downpour, I was warmly welcomed at the restaurant. The eel dish was simply outstanding. I indulged in a delicious cake for dessert and also ordered the Zangi chicken for takeout, both of which were equally fantastic. I had a pleasant conversation with owner Miho and her staff about life in Sapporo and traveling to Nagoya. They were very friendly and accommodating.
I ate the vegan Kabayaki-don, soyakara and the Japanese style parfait that were all beautiful and delicious! I love the okara konnyaku most in all herbal meats.
A walking distance from Nagoya Station and Noritake Garden, this tiny restaurant is a great find! It seems you need a reservation for dinner, but there is no problem with lunch walk-ins.
