The Blue Flame Inn - Nailsea

Without a doubt, this is the best pub in the area. The beer is top-notch, the owners are incredibly friendly, and the food is excellent.

What a charming restaurant! When I stepped inside, it felt like I was entering someone’s home. The interior features tables set up in what seems to be a cozy living room, along with a small but well-stocked bar offering a fantastic selection of ales and ciders. The garden is delightful, although I noticed there isn’t any play equipment for children. It’s a peaceful outdoor space, filled with blooming flowers and an apple tree (June 23). The location is quiet, just a few minutes from Nailsea, and you can hear the sounds of farm animals nearby. The garden is also a lovely suntrap. I can definitely see myself returning to this hidden gem of a pub—though maybe without the kids next time. I noticed some homemade or authentic-style pies, pasties, and sausage rolls available at the bar, but I didn’t ask about a full meal menu. During my visit, I didn’t see anyone else eating, so I’m left to assume that meals might not be an option. It truly is a wonderful place!

I absolutely adore this traditional British pub! I just visited from the campsite across the way. The lady behind the bar gave us a very warm welcome. They have a fantastic selection of ciders and beers. I really wish I lived right across the street!

Finally made it to The Blue Flame. What an absolute legend of a pub Positives .. Fantastic staff..cheap beer and cider and an absolute star in the kitchen creating God sent food.. Glowing enough...? Also a sun swept beer garden !! Dog very friendly .. negatives None

Great rustic pub. Proper bar with real ale, real people great atmosphere. If you are looking for a plastic gastro pub look elsewhere. This place is a gem.
