The Britannia Inn - Nailsworth

I used to really like this place. I think it's still part of the same group as the fleece and lodge which are great and we go there often. The Brit has really dropped off tho. Food was over priced for what it was, portions were really small. The inside looks and feels run down too. Hopefully they can pull it back to what it used to be.

Walked in and headed to the bar with 1 person waiting. 2 more people walked in and were served first so left and went to the Village Inn.

I had just lunch in the brite and it was great! had the sunday roast beef, which was very delicate, with a good selection of sweets, which were all excellent -boiled exactly right and full of taste. as good as a roasted as I remember.

The food was amazing! Loved the restaurant and I would like to return! The 4/5 was because of the delay in getting drinks .. a minor issue but we did have to call them to remind them of our order!

Great dinner. Highly recommend. Pete was so lovely and was so helpful. During such a busy period, they handled the craziness well.
