A great history awaits visitors and the current General Manager is also a lady. Outstanding views over the Moray Firth and a few hundred yards from the iconic Nairn Golf Club 1887 Excellent rooms, good food and wine. Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet
The Golf view restaurant. Sunday fixed menu. A lovely place for Sunday lunch the restaurant is in a beautiful location. This is the restaurant attached to the hotel. They offer a set price Sunday menu. It is extensively a roast menu. The starter I had was chicken liver parfait with a chutney and two slices of toast. It was a nice parfait and the toast was ok, the chutney was bit sharp for me. But overall nice, my guests had the goats cheese tart, and it was delicious. Then we all had the roast beef, the beef was nicely cooked rib, one thick slice, for me not enough. But the others were fine with it. Potatoes were nice and the roast parsnip and carrot were good. The other shredded green stuff was ok, slightly underdone. The gravy was nice, but we asked for extra ,a small jug came out so we shared. Pudding was a chocolate brownie and served with icecream,it was delicious. I and a guest had cheese, (brie) this was cold out of the fridge temperature. Overall. We stayed at Golf view Hotel for 2 nights recently. Beautiful, comfy and clean seaview room. Boys had a connecting small room with bunk bed. We dined there one night and food was amazing and delicious! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
Nice location with a fantastic view from our room. Lovely swimming pool with again a fantastic view. The room needs a little attention here and there for maintenance. Food drinks: The breakfast is exquisite. No buffet but choose what you want from the menu. We enjoyed a full Scottish breakfast, salmon, yogurt, fruit and many more goodies. Second time we have had a Spa day here. Location is great and the facilities are good. The staff and the Spa treatments are what make it five star. The friendliest team who looked after my wife and I from start to finish. The treatments were brilliant and well worth the money. Will definitely be back Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view
