45 Degrees Kitchen - Nairobi

The best restaurant in Kenya! What a spectacular meal! The ambience is wonderful. We sung outside in the yard. The staff was so warm and helpful. We had the 4-course dinner, which is an incredible value. I enjoyed the wedge salad that was so fresh with an amazing dressing. The crab cake was made perfect. Not to bake and a delicious salsa on the side. The prawn court was wonderful. I asked that it be served without bowl and head and it was presented on a bed the most delicious angle of hair noodles. The deserts are fantastic above the top. I had the melted chocolate cake, which could be prepared by the best bakery in Europe. We were lucky to meet Chef Harold from the USA who opened this restaurant a few years ago and Nairobi is so happy to have him and his staff!

Different location, we were the only two for lunch. Service a little slow to start, but great after. Chef tailored pasta, excellent flavors. No cold drinks! They added 10% service fee to the bill, but later removed.

The food is fabulous. A great alternative to your normal everyday cuisine. For meat eaters, go try out the pork belly. And how about blackened salmon for the pescetarian? And many, many more choices.

Loved everything about this place. If you want to experience fine dining, this is it. The location is situated in a nice, peaceful, quiet, place...the food, wow.
