El Cultubar - Nájera

Had a great afternoon welcoming pilgrims into the village and then called back same night for evening meal. We really enjoyed paella and the coffees are something special lol!!!

This place is right at the first of Najera and on the right. It has good tapas and is a nice place to grab a bite on the way into Najera or if you are going further. Stop and try it, I think that you will like it.

We were walking the Camino and arrived at the outskirts of Najera very tired thirsty and hungry. Dropped the bags by a welcoming table in the shade, ordered some beers and some tapas. A plate arrived with little toasts and cheese and another ingredient which I as a vegetarian shouldn't have touched. But I did and it was my first experience of chorizo. It was so delicious we ordered another plateful and I ate a lot of them. I have been vegetarian for most of my life but some things cannot be resisted and the delicious food at El Cultubar, served by such friendly people and offered at the end of a long hot day was one such thing. I loved the decor inside the bar but we spent most of the time outside so I only passed through to visit the loos. I have told many people about this place and dream of returning. Thanks Cultubar!

Me atendió una señora muy amable, el café y la tortilla estaban riquísimos, pero lo que recomiendo especialmente es el tocino frito. Fue genial pasar algún tiempo aquí. La señora se mantuvo amable incluso cuando accidentalmente pensé que se había quitado más de lo que debería. Por supuesto, este no fue el caso y reaccionó muy amablemente ante mi error.

Sándwich muy bonito y delicioso aquí a un precio muy asequible. Justo en la esquina disfrutando de mi desayuno disfrutando del hermoso sol de la mañana.
