Menengai Ostrich Resort And Campsites

A well hidden gem of a place. The site is marvelously beautiful and the owners are as lovely as they come. The view is simply to die for. Take into account that there is no electricity lines or sewage up here so water and electricity are provided by a generator. The facilities are rather modest, accordingly. As long as you keep that in mind you will have and amazing time here and wake up to a stunning scenary. Also the quick walk to the hilltop is worth every step and you can start on a hike down the crater from here.

Seems the place is still under construction but apart from keeping a few beautiful ostriches and other species of birds, the service was very slow, food and drink very expensive and the bathrooms were in poor condition. I wouldnt recommend the place until a few years when they can still improve

Poor communication no one picks or calls back .. luckily we had our own camping gear and we were allowed to camp, the people we meet there were just kind and accommodating
