On our first visit to Langhorne Creek we stopped at the Winehouse for lunch. The main dining area was large, so on this day it was quiet and relaxing- not cramped with too many tables like so often in wine areas. The outlook over the vineyard was lovely. The menu was extensive and moderately priced. It was possible to share plates, which meant we could sample a bit more. We had mullet, which was lovely, and local. There is a wine cellar area to taste a range of wines from local wineries- a nice way to sample without having to stop at all of them. There was also beer available from a local brewery. Staff were friendly and helpful in directing us further on our trip. A pleasant lunch stop over.
This is a lovely venue for a lunch or even would be suitable for a special occasion as it can seat up to 80 people comfortably. The great food and wine list very comprehensive and also reasonably priced. The decor of the venue also very interesting.
Been here a few times and always receive a warm welcome. We were out with another couple checking out some wineries and decided to stop for lunch at The Winehouse. Room was lovely overlooking the gardens, service was quick and food lovely, we had a bottle of the Gypsy Red, it was just as I like my reds, dark fruit with hint of pepper. I would come back here again for food and the wines of course.
Good quality food, wine and craft beers without the rip off prices. Beautiful ambience. What's not to like?
