I decided to visit this restaurant based on the reviews on TripAdvisor, but I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The food was terrible. I ordered butter chicken masala and chilly pork, but the butter chicken was nothing like what it should be [Punjabis can compromise on anything except butter chicken]. It was cooked in a thin, white gravy and tasted awful. The pork was somewhat edible. If you enjoy eating rotis, I suggest you avoid this place. The rotis were undercooked and when I asked for more, they took a long time to make two half-cooked rotis. The only positive aspect of this restaurant was the ambiance.
Ambience & Service: Situated in a residential area with beautiful open views behind the buildings facing the road, this is not a fancy star-rated establishment but rather a cozy and comfortable home-stay style place. There are a few tables and a lounge area, with a view into the kitchen where the aromas waft in as you wait to be served. The service is attentive and they have long opening hours, with the restaurant staying open until 11 pm while the surrounding residences go to sleep by 9 pm. Food and Beverages: The menu offers typical North Indian dishes with a few Bhutanese and Tibetan items. The food is competently cooked in a hearty home-style manner. The bar menu has a limited selection but the prices are very reasonable. Since the food is prepared after you place your order, it may take some time to arrive, but it is always fresh. We passed the time by ordering a drink or two, making the wait enjoyable. Check out the menus uploaded for more information.
Had ordered a set meal everyone liked the ambiance and way that was severed. Taste of the food is good not bad, but everyone enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.
Located near Char Dham, the restaurant looks kinda normal and boring from the outside plus you it can hardly seen from the roadside as you have to walk down a few flights of stairs to get to the restaurant. The interior is beautiful and the food tasted awesome.
