Dover Chinese Food - Nanaimo

I pre ordered for Valentine's Day earlier in the day and my food was ready right on time. Everything was fresh and very good.

Our first take out order in Nanaimo. It is not a place to go to for dine in. They only do take out. You will get a 10% discount if you pick it up by yourself. But if you cannot, you pay the regular price. You can pay cash or card when ordering by phone upon delivery. The good thing here you can order before 12 midnight. I love their fried rice, and their curry fried rice. I dislike their almond chicken, though. Their chow mien tastes all the same even though you ordered different varieties.

I ordered a #701 Chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, sweet and sour pork. It was delicious. A lot of food. I got two meals out of it. I've been there a couple of times before and I will continue to go there. Great food, fast service.

The first and last time I would disturb. I ordered a thing (shanghai nudel) just to try out their food before I ordered larger quantities of takeout. have it home and was disappointed that it was only regularly chow my (and also nothing more) but what. has kidnapped me most after two try to contact them, I was totally ignored. that tells me they get a lot of complaining and do not have the time to react or simply do not have to treat the complaining. independent of it, restaurants have a chance to first impressions. we take our business elsewhere.

We haven't ordered from Dover Chinese for at least 10 years. We were in the neighborhood, so I ordered for picking up home. Dinner for 4, same price as all the others in the city and it was great. Everything tasted as it should,...no funny smells or underlying aromas just a really great dinner. And we had a lot to eat tomorrow.
