Le Cambronne - Nantes

Very good restaurant. We had an entree to share and then one tartare with olives and feta cheese that was delicious and some stir fried noodles. The dessert was absolutely stunning. Server guacamole with lemon sorbet and yuzu jelly. Maybe main dishes serving sizes a little too big.Strongly suggested

Came here as a result of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, I don't have one to share. While upon arrival we were greeted in a very pleasant manner. We were informed that it was booked & there was one table outside still available. I totally appreciate & can understand that & we gladly accepted it. What caused my negative review was that after no fewer than 15 minutes no one had come to see us, deliver a menu or tale a drink order. That is unacceptable in any kind of service oriented business. As such, we took our business elsewhere. It should be noted that while, we had "the last available table there" it was by no means packed. Not sure how such service would equate to good reviews.

We were visiting Nantes with friends and heard this restaurant was good. We had booked after we arrived to the country so were a little early. We were given some wine at the bar and some olive tapanade to share. The wine was great and the waiter helped us to decide which one based on what we usually drink. All of our main courses were fantastic. My friend is lactose intolerant and they made sure they catered for her. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We spent a beautiful evening with friends at a table on their terrace. Food is great, waiters are attentive and the flavours in the dishes are brilliant!!!! One to visit when in Nantes!!!

This place was the icing on the cake on a great trip to Nantes. The food and service and wine and ambience could not be faulted. I would recommend booking as it was very busy! We got a medley of starters to begin. It was Michelin standard. Steak was cooked to perfection (bleu). They prepare the tartare in front of you which is a lovely touch. Extremely reasonably priced.
