Located on the ground floor of the famous Passage Pommeray, the store was recommended to me by a resident of Nantes... and there is no doubt that this person knows his city well! Chocolates of all kinds populate a showcase that announces the delights that one will find inside. Fine chocolates (and somewhat expensive) cute with coarser chocolates that one is choosing, as self-service. For chocolate lovers, a good place. But for others too, since here are some typical cookies from the Nantes and Brittany area: Breton pallet , thick butter cookie, and kouignettes , mini version of kouign-aman ... Better not enter those who are on a diet, because these things are quite potent in calories... but also in flavor! A good place to buy a snack that is typical, rich, and central!
The Larnicol house is more or less becoming a chain. There is a shop in Paris, Bordeaux, etc. In Nantes, it opens a privileged location: Passage Pommeray. I discovered a few years ago, when I put my bags in the city. Little disappointment to taste ... although pink macaroni, bergamot and verbena may surprise, it is still a bit confusing, without knowing what to think: what is typical of mitigs opinion. Conclusion: that's fine, but not exceptional. Appreciate what it is that natural products are useful for their clothes, but nothing that ... I don't have the chocolate, there is also a good collection and many are the ones that are in front of the window to see the different creations: a chocolate shoe, I admit, would tend to stress me! But no, not this time. Why go then? For another thing: kouignettes. The name isn't too dreaming? Still! I don't want to know how it is done, or what ingredients, I just know it's very sucr and beurr, pte densa and that Breton. There's all kinds: chocolate, lemon, caramel... Otherwise, I want to remain a mystery! But I invite you to discover... a real moment of happiness!
In Nantes and elsewhere, they are mini kouing Amann Mortelsssssssssssss
It's not a chocolate shop, but an art shop. We didn't believe our eyes so much when we saw prices in Paris, for something smaller and cheaper we would have paid 5 times more expensive, and believe me, I'm not exaggerated! As a result, I bought two works there is no other word and a dwarf cake... I can't judge the taste yet... And wonder if I can do it because their beauty keeps touching her!
When I went to swim, it was by far the best kneines I had the opportunity to taste! a special mention for salted caramel butter!
