Teranga - Nantes

Teranga is the bes place to have an African dish and good drinks in Nantes,France. I met Muhammed who is very entertaining and nice. Down to earth guy...little did i know he owned the joint. He really too care of me and my team during a visit to Nantes.Any one who needs a quick African touch should look no further than TERANGA!!!

We tried a meat and fish dish, both tasted great and it feelt as genuine food. We also recived a starter where we could taste various Senegalese food. Affordable, great service and tasty food. I will be back.

A mix of sweet, salty and spicy flawors in a very characteristic context. You can also drink a good bordeaux or you can taste a wine from South Africa. Good quality at a good price (22 EUR for starter, main course and dessert). I warmly suggest Teranga if you are in Nantes.

I have never been excited about African fare but teranga changed my mind. After dinner here I knew I had been missing out. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was fabulous. Can't wait to go back. It was a highlight of my trip.

I chose this restaurant based on the other reviews and we were not disappointed at all. I did ask and was told that the dishes have been toned down somewhat to cater for the french palette which is famously sensitive to spice. It was the first time that I tried senegalese food and it was a real delight. Mr Cy was a charming host, and I cant recommend it enough.
