Straight Wharf - NANTUCKET

I made a reservation for 4 overlooking the harbor 3 months ago for a special occasion. The other couple got sick and unable to attend. I called to notify the restaurant and they were grateful that I called. I asked for a view of the harbor. When we arrived we got stuck in the nosiest table in the restaurant, next to a back service station not over looking the harbor. I asked to be changed but they could not accommodate us.

It is one of our favorites from a reason and never disappointed!

When we arrived, we stayed in the nightstand in the restaurant next to a back service station that did not overlook the port. I asked for change, but they couldn't accommodate us.

Hands The best dinner, ambience service on Nantucket South Shore. The Lobster Main Course was from this world! They were extremely concerned with all nutritional restrictions. I would definitely recommend Straight Warf!

Straight Wharf restaurant on Nantucket offers fresh seafood and beautiful water views. On this occasion, we sat outside which was lovely! We each ordered a fluke crudo appetizer to start. It was surprisingly small which was disappointing. For our entrees, we each ordered the sirloin steak, and it was asolutely delicious! We ordered our dessert with the meal because it takes a long time to prepare it. It was a scrumptious peach galette! Even the crust was amazing! However, we sat waiting for it to arrive for more than 25 minutes after finishing our main course, and I am a very slow eater! The server also took way too long to give us our check. We do recommend this restaurant although the service was slow and the appetizers were too small.
