Had high hopes for this restaurant. Coming from Chicago, Illinois and being Mexican the authenticity of the food was not to my standards. I feel they value presentation over food quality. The asada seemed cheap and low quality. The torta planchada lacked flavor( and cheese). The only flavor came from the beans which there was barely any of. The burrito de chorizo had minimal chorizo flavor to the point where I forgot at one point I was even eating chorizo. The tacos were similar to the torta. Same meat so no flavor. Tacos were tiny. At almost $6 per taco Id expect more or at the very least some beans or rice. They preferred to fill the container with garnishes than actual food some beans or rice would have made it more worth the price. The highlight and only thing that we enjoyed was the concha croissant with Nutella. Definitely recommend this hands down. If we are ever back in Napa Valley would definitely stop by to pick up a few of these. Food wise we would look elsewhere.

I didn't know what to expect before we got here... was it going to be like every other Mexican restaurant in the area with a promising menu and nothing authentic, or would the food be full of salt accompanied by a table of hot sauce to mask it?Upon entering, there was a slight lingering fragrance of cleaner (too fragrant if my mom was visiting) but very clean.Well, all of my anxieties about the food were put to rest, and my hunger for mexican cuisine (from a restaurant) was reignited.For years, I've been so disappointed that I've avoided mexican restaurants, but I will be returning here.The food was cooked just right and on a Thursday morning from 9:15-10:15 my Wife 2yr old and I could easily hear one another and choose where we wanted to sit.This place is a must try if you're looking for flavor!!!
