Sweetie Pies Bakery - Napa

I checked the menu online and went here because I thought they had vegan options. they don't. they don't make vegan alternatives anymore because they obviously don't sell well enough. it was a few minutes after 1 o'clock, and I was starving, so I ordered the avocado toast minus the eggs and cheese, and I was told that they can't do it because they stop doing breakfast, and I couldn't order anything else on the menu because they won't make the menu on Sunday. they were so rude and helpful to sell it and my friend who ordered the regular non- vegan cheesecake, said it was disgusting. also 4.50 for a single cookie?! are you high?

Small bakery is located in the sweet inner town of napa area. they have a few nice vegan options (beer muffin, vegan shortbread, cupcakes) and I got the muffin and shortbread. the writer let me know that there are no nuts, but they use nuts in the facility. muffin was moist and not too sweet, shortbread was “buttery” and crisp!

Just hang in. we wanted to read for an hour. they had music. made for a beautiful environment. chocolate cupcakes with soy cream inside is delicious. it costs just over $6. we have a big cup dekaf (they sit in tassen) for each over $3. a few drinks and a cupcake was $13-14 they also had a cookie that we did not get but also looked beautiful.

Sweetie pies is the only bakery in napa that has tried to offer vegan bakery. they offer chocolate or vanilla cupcakes with soy butter cream frosting. Although I am in the usually a big fan of vanilla cake, the chocolate is the clear winner! the frosting is my favorite! they also bake these crumby, delicious shortbread cookies and also offer moist berries muffins. they can also order a tailored vegan cake. vanilla or chocolate cake are available with soy pudding between the layers. I ordered one for my man's birthday. it was expensive, but delicious! in the past they were very incompatible when the cupcakes are available, although it seems to improve. if we always ask for vegan options my hope is with the demand, they will always have them made available.

I went to confirm if they still offer vegan options and they do. They have a vegan berry muffin, which was very fluffy (but not so many berries) and tasted very warm. They offer soy milk, oat milk and almond milk alternatives for their coffee drinks. They have a vegan bagel option, but they were from the vegan cream cheese when I went so I did not try it (that was disappointing, maybe call ahead to find out if they have the cream cheese or not before you try this product). The cashier also said they had a raw bar of a kind that was also vegan. These are all vegan options in this place so with a bakery item, a food item, and a few drinks options is it a place you can go if you desperately find a place that offers *something* for vegans. It could also be worth a support so they continue to offer vegan food here. All in all, the staff was friendly and seemed to know what was vegan and what was not. The vegan muffin and bagel are clearly marked as such.
