Tannya's Taqueria - Napa

I live a few doors away on Jefferson St and eat at Tannya's all the time. I'm veggie, so I order either the kid's burrito or the full blown veggie burrito. When workers are at my house (plumber, painter, rain gutters, etc), I always buy them lunch (asada) and they rave about the food. I have no idea who some other reviewers are talking about referring to a nasty lady taking orders and giving a hard time. I guess you can't please everyone.

Excellent Mexican food tasted great, huge portion, reasonable price. This restaurant seems like a great neighborhood staple.

My last meal before departing Napa for points south and east, my friend brought us to Tannya's. Definitely one of the least expensive meals I've had in this part of California. Which is not to say that there was any tradeoff for deliciousness. It's a taqueria so I chose tacos. They also have burritos and platters and such. But my three taco plate with beef, chicken and al pastor. Delicious authentic tacos topped with onions and cilantro and some rather spicy pickled carrots. Oh so good.

The chorizo burrito was probably the best I've ever had! When I'm in Napa again, I'll seek them out!

The taco’s were excellent, i had the al pastor, green chile chicken, and carne asada. Service was great, very friendly! Would recommend to everyone!! There is also a beautiful Napa moral in the parking lot, worth taking some pictures!
