I’m all for supporting smaller businesses, so I went a few times before reviewing just to make sure I wasn’t being harsh; you can go to any Poke Bro’s chain and get better flavor and quality for a lower price sadly. The ingredients here aren’t bad, but it’s almost as if they base the entire flavor of every bowl on the sauces that get slapped on top, versus the actual ingredients inside the bowl. Sadly they don’t add enough sauce on top to justify that decision and you run out very quick. I’ll definitely stop by again when I’m in downtown Naperville and want poke, but I’d be lying if I said it’d be my first choice.
Service was quick. Food was fresh, simple, and tasty. Vibe of the place is nice, chill, clean. There is only cold food on the menu, it's pretty small. Cute spot in downtown.Vegetarian options: It's a very vegan-friendly menu.
Ok so comin' from the 808 state, the only Aloha here is the chattle on the walls by the bathroom. The flavor of the house bowls is really bland. The fish is distinctly frozen. The atmosphere is rushed and minimalistic. I understand it is a business decision, but when the presentation is, in fact, an entire peoples' culture, it seems derisive.Overall:Overprived and underwhelming. Will not return.
Discriminated by caucasians serving colored people food. When I walked it there was one customer being help and about to check out. I was next in line with no one else behind me. When the first customer was done and walked out there was a tall caucasian man that walked in.Since I was next in line I walked up to the counter ready to order. Unfortunately the worker looked past me, as if I wasn’t in line the past 5 minutes, to talk to the tall caucasian man and asked, “I can take your order here. What can I get for you?”I am a 6 foot 2 inch Hawaiian that weighs 230 pounds. Pretty hard to miss a person my size.I looked at the worker with disgust and said that I was in line first. The worker said, “I have to serve him first.” I replied, “That’s ridiculous,” and walked out of this establishment. It’s quite absurd and ironic that a white person serving Hawaiian food is racist towards a pacific islander. Maybe some diversity and inclusion training would benefit this exotic food chain.??
It 's good but way too expensive for what you get. You might as well just actually go out to a real sushi restaurant instead. Spent over 40 bucks on 2 large bowls which are actually the size of a children 's cereal bowl if that. It might be worth it if there was no rice and they replaced it with all meat but I recommend you just go somewhere else, more bang for your buck. Even other sushi bowl places give you more food
