This place is better than Portillo‘s. I no longer eat a Portillo‘s. They got really good Italian beef and they don’t charge for sauce

Nickys is a quintessential Greek/Chicago fast food type joint. Everything I have had here always meets my craving. Whether it's a juicy Gyro (chicken Gyro is ? too), Chicago Dog, crispy fries, greek potatoes, greek chicken meal, you name it. It's all good! The indoor seating is basic and mostly uninviting and what you would expect of a fast food, quick-bite type joint but I don't go here for the ambiance, I go for the food. I had the pleasure of walking in for the first time since I normally get it delivered or my wife picks it up on her way home, and the service was top-notch. Extremely friendly, service-oriented, and quick. My ratings are weighted heavily on food first, but good service can always elevate a place for me. Nicky's is a great example of a no-frills spot with great food and service and is a regular place in my rotation.

Got catering from this place great service and friendly staff. The food was super good too, glad I went this route. Ribs were amazing and a big hit, beef was delicious as well.
