Angkor Wat Kiwi Bakery Cafe - Napier

The chicken, cranberry, and cream cheese pie was absolutely delicious. My partner ordered the mince and cheese pie and thoroughly enjoyed it, even digging in with his hands because he liked it so much. The restaurant offers a wide variety of pies, sandwiches, slices, and baked goods. I will definitely be returning. The location is fantastic, not too far from my workplace, so I might become a regular customer.

Even though the restaurant is named after a south-east Asian landmark, the cuisine served here is a fusion of European and Kiwi flavors. Having grown up in New Zealand during the 1970s and 80s, I always crave classic Kiwi comfort foods like pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches, milkshakes, and nostalgic childhood treats. Angkor Wat is always my first stop after landing, before heading to baggage claim. I hope they consider expanding to Canada in the future.

This bakery is fantastic. They have a wide variety of options, both hot and cold, and plenty of tray bakes to choose from. It's great that they also offer a chicken and chips option. The food is delicious and affordable.

We are from Hamilton visiting the Hawkes Bay for the first time! We wanted a good kiwi bakery and this was it great range of classic bakery food I got a bacon and egg quiche and was divine! And gotta have the chicken and chips!
