This was our first sit down restaurant in Naples and maybe my expectations were too high since we’ve been dining in Sorrento, Positano and Rome. But when you see a 4.6/5 you get a little excited to visit. Upon entry the male owner seated us and showed us their digital menus. He was genuinely a nice guy and one of the main positives about this restaurant. The negatives however drastically outweigh the positives. They have two digital menus, one for pizzas and one for the rest of the menu. Don’t understand why they couldn’t combine into one? Had to have two tabs open in safari and scan two QR codes for what? Positive note was the pepperoni pizza. Was cooked in the traditional Neapolitan style with San Marzano tomatoes. Flavor was good and overall a pretty good pizza. I was told the pasta dish with the king prawns was fresh pasta but it tasted like dried. The prawns were ok, couldn’t tell if they were frozen or fresh but I’m leaning towards frozen as they didn’t hold up great while peeling. Service after our initial order was horrible. Nobody came to check up on us during the meal. Needed more napkins as we were only given two and peeling prawns is messy business. When it came time to paying the bill this was the worst part. The three women working there were like clucking hens chatting away in the back. Had to call them over for the bill which she just dropped on the table and didn’t ask if I was paying cash or card. I was paying card, so I figured she’d come back soon. She didn’t. I had to literally wave my card at her to bring the machine over. After swiping my card she said ok and left. Didn’t give me my receipt or ask if I wanted it. So I had to go ask her for the receipt which she then huffed and went to get it for me. Overall, pizza was decent, not the greatest. Pasta was mediocre. Service was trash from the female staff, dude was cool.
I came to Napoli by mistake (that's a different story). I came across the restaurant and immediately fell in love. The atmosphere and the service were great and then I met the chef. I learned about the history of the place and his devotion and commitment to making pizza. The place is great, the pizza is marvelous and unique and the entire experience was one to remember. I totally recommend.
The pizza amazing. The service, however, was minimal, with the chef bringing us our food when he couldn’t find the waiter, and then us having to go up to ask to pay. They then tacked on a hidden service charge for 2 euros a person, which was over 20% of our bill. The pizza was absolutely delicious, so all our love to the chef!
This place was very good. ricotta filled crust? yes, please. and not just that, but it is the most creamy ricotta I've ever had. sauce was lovely savory, but light. delicious strokes all around. also cute, clean atmosphere, a legit pizza oven and air requirements. 10/10
Great place, just a few meters from garibaldi. restaurant is very beautiful, things are great, like a price....and pizza is wow. one of the best pizzas I ever eat!
