Went for breakfast had 2 eggs with avocado and tomato salad and baguette, salad appears to be 3 pieces of sliced tomato and 3 pieces of avocado (barely a quarter with 3 small pieces of a toasted in olive oli(? baguette. Giving a 3 stars because omletts looks like usual size. Service was ok, we were also informed prior meal that service charge for group 5 or more has 25% tip added.
Exceptional french bakery with terrific ambiance. My wife saw La Colmar mentioned in Gulfshore Life, and so we gave it a try. It's now one of our favorite spots for breakfast. The Quiche Lorraine is one of the top-5 most delicious foods I have ever eaten. It is the perfect balance of eggs and ham in the filling, and a perfectly baked flakey crust. Their espresso is terrific, and my wife loves their hot chocolate. We've tried most of the baked goods, which are all outstanded and baked fresh daily. The decor and ambiance inside is a lot of fun.
We had a Wonderful lunch. What a nice french cafe. So well done.Quiche loraine was so good! Also had the almond pistachio croissants. The best I have ever had.The waitress and staff were friendly and very efficient.I would give more stars if possible!
Visited 3 days in a row. Absolutely perfect French pastries! Delicious coffee... Wonderful staff. Will be my go to place for lunch and sinful dessert. Couldn't recommend more strongly! Enjoy!!
Recently met friends for coffee here and felt disappointed by the way a situation was handled. I felt compelled to alert the owners and wrote a lengthy email that was “undeliverable” so their contact information on their website must be inaccurate. Perhaps this review will help encourage them to fix that so people won’t have to alert them on such a public forum; it’s not my intent to talk negatively about this establishment.I was shocked and disturbed that a simple cup of coffee cost me $6.46 not including the tip. That seems extreme and that would be the reason I would avoid meeting my friends there in the future.I ordered just a regular coffee with oat milk. I never specified a size and was never asked about a size preference.I was not alerted that the oat milk was an additional charge either. I would have been happy to pay the extra cost, I just don’t like being surprised with unexpected up charges. Then there was an additional $1.00 added for a 16 oz sized cup that I never asked for.My friends paid less for their cappuccinos then I did for my coffee.I wasn’t going to say anything but my friends were equally as shocked and insisted that I go inquire about the cost.I went to the counter and spoke to a woman and a young man interjected and said, “there was obviously a miscommunication.” And then he allowed me to walk away with the feeling of “too bad so sad.”Nothing was done or offered to make me feel better about that charge. So I will think twice about going back there for gatherings with my friends. It’s sad because this is a lovely place.
