Amore - Naples

As always it was a wonderful experience. Visiting with out of town friends Meto our waiter did an awesome job. Made them feel so welcome as he does with us.

This was our second time at Amore. We invited Friends to joins us and we all lived everything from the Beauty of the restaurant to the exceptionally delicious food and the fantastic service It is more than worthy of its 4.7 star rating on open Table We will go back again and again .Our Waiter was GJ and he is exceptional

GJ was personable his service was excellent, even with a packed restaurant Food wine were very good Both were slightly overpriced even for Naples

When we arrived the restaurant was basically empty and the hostess led us to a table next to the kitchen. I asked if we could have a different table and she responded that next time I should make a note requesting we not be seated by the kitchen and she promptly dropped our menus on the table and departed. The table was set for four so for several minutes the server was reaching across the table collecting dishes, glasses and silverware while I looked at his armpit. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. We have eaten many times at Amore and always found it had a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately this experience was off to a bad start and after watching the food go back and forth from the kitchen and having two servers have a rather heated discussion two feet away from us we did not enjoy this experience. We will be back again before the theatre but will definitely include notes in the reservation.

Due to short notice we were not able to be seated in the dining room where we normally are seated. However we were able to get a table in the bar. We found this to be quite enjoyable and more energetic than the dining room…. The service was top notch too. Great evening
