Don Tequila Mexican - Naples

I visited on Taco Tuesday, and it was fantastic! The drink and taco specials were great, and both the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Renzo, who was behind the bar, was excellent! I will definitely be returning!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The portions were generous, and the authentic Mexican food was flavorful and delicious. The atmosphere was delightful, making our visit even more enjoyable. We will definitely return in the future!

I opted for the T-Bone Don Tequila, which came with rice, beans, Mexican cactus (nopal), pico de gallo, guacamole, onions, a stuffed jalapeño wrapped in bacon and filled with cheese, along with tortillas. The steak was substantial and cooked exactly to my request of medium-rare. It wasn't overly seasoned, allowing the natural flavors of the meat to shine through. The accompanying sides were bursting with flavor, needing no extra condiments. I even took a picture of my meal with a fork for perspective to show the size of the steak and sides for $23.99! We finished our meal with sopapillas served with ice cream and flan. The fried sopapilla was perfectly crispy, drizzled with just the right amount of chocolate and honey. The flan had a bolder caramel flavor than we typically encounter, but it was still very enjoyable. The decor of the restaurant is charming and welcoming. Our server, Renato, was attentive and polite, and our food arrived quickly, fresh, and hot. If we didn’t live 2.5 hours away, we would dine here much more frequently!

Our waiter Gabriel was excellent. The food was outstanding, everything we ordered was super good. However, I didn?t care for their drinks, tried first the spicy mango drink and it was too sweet and no alcohol flavor. Then I tried the passion fruitmargarita and that was also disappointing. Definitely would come back to try other dishes.

Despite the drink issues, I would definitely return to try more dishes.
