They have regulars as she greeted everyone that walked in by name. Sign of a good place! We had a large pizza, half cheese and half with onions olives mushrooms and sausage. Fantastic! I am a huge fan of sliced sausage, canned mushrooms and fresh onion and briny olives. We devoured it! Cant wait to go back and try other things!
The pizzas are massive and so delicious, definitely worth your money (the prices are really good too)
As far as the ambiance is concerned, yes, this is a bit of a hole in the wall , but very reminiscent of a typical NY Pizza joint. The water is served in styrofoam cups and the plates are probably straight out of Grandma 's cupboard. I can see how someone might not like it if you 've never been to a place like that, but if you 're from humble upbringings up north, you 'll be right at home. I wasn 't really impressed with the Itallian combo to be honest, but the cold cuts were fresh and the pizza was really good not #1 on my list, but solid especially for Florida. Again, this is not facny 5 star dining, but it 's solid comfort food pizza that can be enjoyed in sunny Florida ... ? ?
You cannot a better NY/NJ style pizza anywhere on the SW coast of Florida. The cheese steaks are up there as well! Haven't quite tried the rest of the menu, but have been coming here for years. Highly recommended.
My wife from Philly who knows her cheesesteaks says roll was good ,meat super hot cooked to order. Reminded her of Philly
