Z's Music Kitchen - Naples

As for the food, it was disappointing. We ordered the BBQ special, but it lacked flavor. The Z's salad was oversaturated with dressing, despite my request for it on the side. Our server was a polite young man, and I will say that the Z shrimp appetizer was quite tasty; it was the only redeeming part of our meal. Overall, we were not impressed and won’t be returning.

Tons of fun and energy! Food was excellent. Service was slow but not the servers fault. It is my understanding that the computers went down and slowed everything down. Would definitely recommend Monday night jam session. So much fun!

They had several items unavailable but the food was good and it looks like a fun place to enjoy some music

When we arrived, the waitress was unprepared to offer outdoor seating until she went out back to clean up the area, presumably with a blower and broom. We were then asked to put a credit card on file before being escorted to the "backyard." Once there, we realized we were the only guests outside—just four senior citizens on Valentine’s Day. The waitress brought us menus and some dishes and cutlery, and told us we had to place our food and drink orders at the bar. They would then bring the food to our table. Any other requests would also require a trip to the bar. Throughout our dinner, loud music blared from two small speakers, and a construction crew nearby was operating chainsaws nearly the entire time. The food came in a reasonable timeframe, but it was cold: the ribs were overcooked and dried out, the brisket was fatty, and the salad wasn’t chilled. Our gin and tonic was forgettable. We decided to order dessert, which meant another trip to the bar to wait in line with the other patrons. The dessert options were limited and unimpressive. After a long wait, I went to the bar to get our check. The total was $145, which included a recommended gratuity percentage that felt absurd given the lack of service. For comparison, the next night we had dinner at Mango’s on Marco Island—outdoor dining, drinks, and dessert—for the same price, and the experience was far superior.

The quality of the food has declined. The menu is quite limited, and my salad lacked flavor. While the entertainment was excellent, the food did not meet expectations.
