La Brace - Napoli

We were visitors to the city and noticeably the only non Italian. Noticeable was the quality of our food compared to the locals. We had packet spaghetti to their fresh. If you think I'm exaggerating, the caprese salad was literally a mozzarella ball and 6 baby tomotatoes cut in 2. Terrible. Avoid.

Having written a review last year, and vowing not to eat at La Brace again, we decided to give it another try. Well, on this visit, we found the food very good, and the waiter,Masimo, who also tended us last year,treated us in a much better manner. Ther was no problems with the bills and everything was thoroughly explained. All in all a much improved experience to last year and will have no hesitation in eating here on future visits to Napoli.

Selected this place to eat at night as it was near to our hotel. The first night pasta ok but on second night the pasta was very salty . My wife requested a whitebait, or similar, dish but was brought a large bowl of mussels which we told the waiter, we couldn't eat. Most other dishes seamed to be unavailable that night and I finished up with a tomato salad whilst my wife had calamari. I noticed that the mussels were taken to another table and our unitemised bill had obviously had the mussels included. Needless to say we didn't return, nor will we on further visits to Napoli

I've known this place for about a year and I really recommend it to everyone! Lovely personal and extra pizza. Don't miss!

This is the historic pizzeria of via jannelli (referred to some ombud). I have always found myself well, pizza is good (average to napoli) and of satisfactory size, good selection of ingredients. I never ate anything else, so I can't express myself at the restaurant.
