Pizza E Pummarol - Napoli

The hearty voice of Antonietta, the proprietor, summons you as you approach the location. Full of energy and a big smile she is the heart of the place. The food was very nice and the service, too. I liked the pizza, as it was crispy and had spaghetti and potatoes which was super!

This place is on maybe the busiest pedestrian streets of Naples,the Via Tribunale; it is on the ground floor of a building with arcades,the open air tables are right under the arcades ; believe it or not,I found here the cheapest pasta in Italy,a spaghetti alla carbonara with only 5 Euro and it was very good and a fair portion ; they also serve pizza and a Margherita is 3 Euro which seems to me an unbeatable price ; the people were friendly and there were no extra charges like in other places ;

Walking down the street we were greeted by a very pushy and forceful man, me and my girlfriend were looking for somewhere to eat, I prefer to look at the menu and figure a place out for myself but this wasn’t the case. The man on the street practically dragged us in. After looking at the lack lustre menu and explaining we just wanted drinks he continued to force us to order food. There was nobody eating and it was obvious that they only really wanted us there for window dressing. I ordered a beer and two cokes and left it at that, the man was clearly irritated and told the other staff not to approach our table. I asked for the bill of which he replied 5 minutes, 15 minutes went by and again I asked for the bill and he replied 10 minutes. I lost my patience and demanded the bill as he was just standing on the streets looking for another unfortunate couple to drag in. He came over and said €25 Euro I couldn’t believe 2 cokes and a beer would cost that. I said it was a joke and he said it was for service and I replied what service as he was only interested in cat calling people on the street plus we didn’t eat. The experience was a absolute joke and I left feeling very ripped off. A lady did come in on her own and the man seemed to just perv on her. Overall the single worst experience of the holiday. Scummy is a understatement. I know it’s competitive on the streets but manors and positive vibe would go a long way. Avoid!!

Ieri notte Sono stato a cena in questa pizzeria che mi ha offerto sia un menu che una pizza, ma essendo andato lì per la pizza abbiamo preso un margherite e un semplice ripieno di prosciutto di ricotta e altro. la qualità degli ingredienti era buona e la pasta era altrettanto buona ma non era come la classica pizza napoletana con un bordo alto e sottile, quindi non do la quinta stella. Comunque ha mangiato bene e i prezzi sono stati davvero onesti. un latte, un ripieno, 3 bottiglie d'acqua e due coperture 19,50€

Ottima pasta e ottima pizza nel cuore di Napoli , consigliatissimo!
