Trattoria Pp2 - Napoli

I spoke italian but despite this, received far less appetizing portions than the locals with the same meal on the table next to us. We ordered a genovese and received no meat at all despite part of the dish, next to us the locals received a proper genovese. Unfortunate and unneccesary to discriminate. Also ‘accidentally’ left out the tuna in the tuna salad.

Incredible food. We ordered the ravioli twice!

I’m not sure if they didn’t attend to us because we aren’t from Italy, but we went there yesterday and they told us that all was booked and today it would be closed... But, surprise! It is OPEN! They can say that is booked both days, nevertheless the fact of telling us that it was closed just to avoid us is insulting. Even more when we were appreciating that the food should be really worthy if they were full (although when we came back to ask for the reservation and they were still empty... . Denigrating! If they don’t know other languages or feel uncomfortable speaking them, they just can say it!

We had a very tasty lunch here- bucatini with braised beef and liver ragu, and salami risotto. With soft drinks it came to 19EUR. Service was good and the staff friendly. Not speaking much Italian, we struggled slightly with the menu but managed to order some tasty dishes!

Lovely authentic food, incredibly reasonably priced. Lovely service, even though our Italian is terrible! Thank you. Bellissimo!
