Nice people and good option for vegans…they serve good vegan Japanese food

A sweet little cafe hidden in Nara. I ordered the lunch bento set and smoothie, as the full lunch set had to be reserved in advance. The lunch bento was absolutely amazing full of delicious, healthy vegan Japanese food. One absolute plus is that it had a variety of food in it, from pumpkin to shiitake mushrooms and more. One of the best vegan meals I had in Japan. The two ladies there are very friendly and even chatted with me, they know a little bit of English! Definitely recommend it to everyone : One thing would be you should call ahead to reserve the full lunch meal if you wish to try it. It looks even more delicious than the bento set I had and I wished I could try it.

Very cute little spot tucked away just off a main shopping street in Nara. Look out for their outdoor sign to find it. The two ladies who run it were so welcoming and friendly and recommend me what to try. Had their noodle special for the day which was so fresh and tasty. As it’s quite cosy, the kitchen set up is behind the bar where you eat you could see fresh dishes being made that smelled so good!
