Feedback gevenWent to this restaurant with the family on a Saturday for diner. The outside of the place was not great looking but it was very clean, So we decided to give it a try. The food was great tasting and not expensive. I am giving a 3 stars because the service was extremely slow and it was totally empty. We were the only ones there. We had to constantly ask for refills to the point of getting up ourselves to get the drinks. We waited for the check for too long, therefore I decided to go and ask for the check. The waitress just handed the check to me. Took the check and had to wait way longer for her to come and charged us. We decided to get up and find her so we could pay and leave. She was not rude just slow. Service needs to improve. Everything else was great considering.
*The oldest review in my drafts I 've been meaning to post Backdated to November '15! It 's a lengthy one but worth the read if you 're contemplating checking this place out. Excuse the delay.!! Being completely honest, for the first time, I find myself disagreeing with fellow Yelpee 's on the rating for Bistro Fusion, which in my humble opinion, deserves a 2.5, at best. AMBIANCE: 1/5 Yes, the parking lot is always that empty. I live 15 minutes South but commonly commute this area daily and despite the almost 5 stars it has on Yelp, this place is NEVER busy. It 's maintained clean on the inside; however, there 's a particularly pungent aroma you 'll pick up on when walking in. That doesn 't go away throughout your dinning experience. SERVICE: 1/5 The owner, is the hostess, the server the cook. *READ CON BELOW. FOOD: I don 't know about anyone else, but as a first timer anywhere, I like to know if it isn 't clear what style of food I 'm testing. Here? I never figured it out. The menu is overwhelming and has a distinct odor stickiness. Yes, you read that correctly. When we first sat down, the owner brought us a sample of what appeared like Lentil soup mixed with pieces of veggies meat. The color was off putting but the flavors made it edible. We eventually decided to start off with the Loaded Nachos as an app. which were pretty good. The chili wasn 't too hearty had a nice level of heat balanced by a hint of sweetness. The Nachos were piled with all the regular toppings. See Pics They we 're a good portion size well presented however I 'd never sprinkle dry parsley all over a tower of Nachos as garnish. As an entree, I ordered the Chicken Platter which seemed to be the popular dish amongst Yelpers. It was served with House or Cesar Salad, plus white rice black beans. The Platter , was nothing more than 1/4 chicken, roasted and smothered with peppers and onions. I wish I could say I went crazy over chicken/rice/and beans, but in order for something so ordinary to have blown my mind it would 've had to have been the way Mama made, or better! My hubby ordered a grilled chicken club sandwich which had it 's own sweet/tangy mayo sauce situation in between the 2 pieces of bread. It actually tasted quite good with all the other basic chicken club sandwich extras. I joked throughout the meal that without Yelping, he clearly got the inside scoop of the better meal. 2.75/5 *CON: Food is finally on the table after 40 mins, I 'm starving, my toddler is angry for food in all that chaos, the owner approaches my table asks if I have social media. ____ Eagerly, my husband replied, Yeah! She Yelps! He immediately asked me to Check In on FB, Like Follow him on every social media account imaginable to share with my friends asked I give [him] 5 stars with a great review on Yelp. He stood there waiting and watching until he realized I wasn 't going to reach for my phone! I 'm all for good exposure to attract more business, but my reviews are my honest, un bias opinion which I arrive to on my own after the experiences I have. I don 't know how many other customers prior to me experienced the same awkwardness and although he 's a nice guy, I refuse to be misleading just giving 5 stars writing fluffy reviews because the owner intimidatingly asked me to. I don 't see myself ever coming back or recommending it. I do wish this place the best of luck and hope it stays open longer than the I hop that use to be here, lasted.
They changed the name to Ram's Diner. This place has great food, reasonable prices and the owner is super nice. I recommend trying the curry bowl, the noodle salad which are both delicious. keep up the great job.
First off, it is no longer Bistro Fusion... the name was changed a few years back but it has the same owner. Now, I've passed by this place every few days even back when it was an Ihop. Anyway, we were deciding what to do for breakfast and happened to be near by so I said why don't we try it. I am a cheap eater so the initial sticker shock of $7 for 6 triangles of french toast and nothing else almost sent me packing, but then I noticed the Philly Cheese steak and I decided to try it.... THEY CAN CARAMELIZE ONIONS!!!! PROPERLY!!! So many places think caramelize and sautee are synonymous. I can't stand raw or sautéed onions but absolutely die for caramelized ones...I can eat them with nothing else. OK, enough about me .. The food was awesome, the service was great. The owner who also manages the place himself checks to make sure everything is well. Our companion ordered the western omelet and said it was good as well. I will definitely be back for the cheesesteak and maybe I'll try something else some time.
The food was good, service too. Lovely kind waitress, my veggie platter and husband's spicy Thai salad and a hummus appetizer hit the spot. But please be aware this is NO LONGER the Bistro Fusion, but Ram's Diner. Very similar under new management. My only disappointment was few if any Cuban choices.
