Taste fine just not like cheese and if I get nachos then you better believe I want a cheese flavor. I also got the dos molinas special. Tamale cheese enchilada and beef enchilada and taco. It was all ok. Nothing special. Their parking is awful be warned of that too. I had a big truck parking my view and delayed me from backing out because from the parking you have to back up right into traffic. I had to wait and keep raising up to see over the truck to gage when I could back out.Parking: Small lot
Unfortunately it was absolutely awful. This used to be our absolute favorite but apparently some things have changed. The server was incredibly rude and didn’t get anything corrects that we ordered even down to drinks, she was rushing us thru the entire experience. There were about 6 flies surrounding the table. The food came cold and everything was DRYYY- the beef tips, the pork tips, the tortillas, all of it. Had to choke it all down. Will not be returning. Don’t waste your time.
I did not enjoy the food at all. I got the mole chicken enchiladas. No bueno. The chicken was large chunks of dry chicken breast. I chewed and chewed and eventually spit out into my napkin. The rice and beans, basic. Guacamole and queso was ok. They have Pepsi products so I loved that. The staff were very nice. Bathroom was gross. I won't be going back.
Nothing fancy about food, just good ol’ home style Mexican cooking.
We're new to Fort Worth (from Dallas/Plano area) so hubby and I are looking for our new go to spot for margaritas and good food. This place was a huge disappointment. Balls were getting dropped left and right. We got seated, no menus. 15-20 minutes go by, waitress introduced herself and asked if we were ready to order. But no menus and it's our first time here??. Brings out 4 drinks, only gives us 2 straws. Brings out food, no silverware. Brings out more salsa, but we have no chips. Brings out more chips, and brings out more salsa (mind you they're both like a cup each)(which, honestly the salsa situation more funny/awkward). Check comes out, and she over charged us for the house margaritas. The frozen house margaritas were ok. The flour tortillas were delicious, just how my dad makes them! As well as the beans. The rice was... meh, as well as the serving, very little rice imo(i had the carne asada plate w/ a cheese enchilada). My husband had a steak burrito and a guacamole tostada, he said food was ok, guacamole may have had too much lime juice. Also, if you're paying with card be prepared to be charged 4% to pay w/card. Not sure if my experience tonight was just a one off or it's always this bad. I plan on giving it another shot in the future, to try their menudo (which looks great, and many other reviews recommend it). I hope to find my next experience here to be better than tonight's was.
