Never had a burrito without rice and beans . Only had meat , lettuce , pico and cream

Carne Burrito could have been the worst burrito I’ve ever had. The quesadilla with Barbacoa was good and the salsa was really good. Keep driving.

The quesadilla was delicious but the torta was absolutely not what I expected. This is a quick bite stop.

We wanted to eat Tex-Mex after our return from Rockport Texas. The wife and I treated grandsons Evan, Triston, Austin and family friend Camden. Triston, Austin and Camden ordered cheese enchiladas. My wife and Evan ordered Chicken enchiladas and I had the combo with two each of soft beef and chicken tacos. We started with a full order of beef and cheese super nachos. Everything was very good. Our waiter, while good, was a bit forgetful. He forgot about our Margaritas and placed my order wrong the first time. We understood because he had three tables with six or more people. We recommend and will continue to be regular diners.

We came from San Angelo, TX and we had excellent Mexican food there. When we moved to Fort Worth, TX we struggled to find exellent Mexican food. We finally found it at the El Paseo on Jacksboro Hwy. I often judge a Mexican restaurant by the way their foundation foods. refried beans and rice, taste before sampling other foods on my plate They passed the 1st test and the others too!! I have a theory ... the best mexican food is prepared by the people who invented it in the first place.
