I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the food here. It was absolutely delicious. The bourbon chicken had a wonderful smoky flavor, while the mango chicken had a fantastic texture. Overall, it exceeded my expectations.
I was refused a cup of water and was pressured to purchase a bottle instead. The staff was quite rude about it.
The fried rice was dry and had a coarse texture, while the shrimp dish was far too sweet for my taste. The bourbon chicken had a slightly crispy exterior, but was quite soft on the inside. Overall, I was pretty disappointed. The restaurant had the appearance of a Southeast Asian fast-food joint, which is a rarity, but the authenticity and quality of the food left much to be desired.
The restaurant's name is Thailand Express, but let's be honest about the food they serve. When it comes to Thai cuisine, there wasn't much to be found. However, their Chinese dishes were pretty decent. The flavors were enjoyable, and the portion sizes were generous—perhaps they were just clearing out the midday stock, but I definitely got my money's worth. While the food was tasty, it was also quite oily; I felt like I had applied lip gloss by the time I finished my meal. The prices were comparable to other food court options, so I can't really complain. Would I go back? Absolutely!
