Feedback gevenThis restaurant has been one of our favorites since it first opened. We usually stick to the same dishes because they have always been consistently good, but unfortunately, today was an exception. While the food still had the same quality ingredients, it just wasn’t served at the right temperature. The fries looked appetizing, but they either weren’t made to order or they had been sitting in the kitchen for too long before reaching our table. They are some of our favorite French fries in Nashville due to the oil they use for frying. The ribeye steak tacos were also less warm than we usually find them, and the meat was a bit drier than normal. Although it was a late lunch, we remain big fans of this restaurant and will definitely be returning soon! We’re also pleased to see that they now have a permanently covered porch to shield diners from the afternoon sun.
Every item on the menu is amazing, but the Smothered Hamburger Steak is definitely one of my top picks! It comes with grilled onions, provolone cheese, collard greens, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and gravy.
I would give the Taproom 10 stars if I could! The Taproom is fantastic. Whether it's lunch, dinner, happy hour, or drinks, everything is consistently excellent. We've dined in and ordered takeout countless times, and we visit at least every other week. As a vegetarian, I appreciate the many delicious vegan and vegetarian options they offer. They can even substitute vegetarian dishes for any meat items! The food, atmosphere, and staff are all wonderful. I highly recommend it!
I came here without any expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, book, atmosphere, and service. I got their chicken tacos which were decent street tacos. I think it was missing something to give it a less dry taste. Thetortillas were quite dry as well as the best itself. Their verde salsa doesn’t have much spice to it. It would be great ifthey served this with a more watery, spicier salsa, or even a nice juicy, blistered, whole jalapeño would be great as well. Wealso got their fish and chips, which were awesome. The fish was so tender and juicy, and the fries were fried perfectly. Thebest part is their homemade tartar sauce which is a little chunky and spicy! I could eat the sauce alone and be content. Theyhave a ton of beers, including 2-for-1 beers on Mondays, which is when we came. Staff were very friendly and helpfulthroughout. I really enjoyed this restaurant as it had really solid food, and the experience was fantastic.
I took my husband here for lunch. He had the Seared Tuna and Ginger Salad. He thought it was nice. I had the Farm Aid Burger. The egg was over cooked. The FF were nice. I think it's expensive and has a very limited menu.
