I came into copper branch and was greeted by live music, friendly smiles with a quality space. But specifically there was one older lady (with beautiful pink lipstick) who was nothing but a staple of this place from her open kindness to the way she was running this place.
Horrible experience. I went for lunch with friends, spent $22 for a terrible experience. I got the falafel wrap, which the falafel genuinely seemed like powder, which was a quite confusing. The fries were ice cold, and when I asked for them reheated, they burned them and served them right back to me. My “iced latte” was lukewarm brown oat milk, that they didn’t even put ice in. I wish I would not have wasted money on this.
You get what you pay for and that is NUTRITION here!Food tastes good, definitely feel better after eating Themis food over the loaded BBQ you can find on Broad St and for a similar price for that matter.I will say the manager (or at least she appeared to be the manager) seemed annoyed at our simple order. Maybe she had a long day but it felt like we were inconveniencing her. Although I won't hold that against her as I understand everyone has their share of bad days, it did impact my visit.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Several options for people with dietary restrictions
This is a great concept, but the lack of staff is hurting the business. I was so excited to find a place that I could order without worry. There were only two people working and it was very chaotic. I will start with the good. The food and mocha lates were amazing! Delicious and well made. We had breakfast tacos and hot chikn’ tacos, both were served hot and delicious! The negative outweigh the good unfortunately. Here’s the improvement needed section: when we arrived, there were only two other customers in the cafe, so we thought the wait wouldn’t be too bad. My concern stared when a customer had to check on his latte twice while we were waiting to place our order (one individual ahead of us in line). We waited over 35 min for two coffees and our taco order. As stated previously, there were only two people working. They kept taking orders without making any orders, which resulted in a mess of orders and a lot of mad people. They did not prepare the orders in the order they were placed, which resulted in some people getting their food right away and others (like us) left waiting. 35 min for a mocha is just unacceptable. Hopefully they get the staff they need to make the changes and develop a system of how to make orders as they are placed needed to run a successful business.
