Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

On Monday 7/29 I went to the Cracker Barrel on 6941 Charolette Pike in Nashville Tn.. when I got there at7:40am I looked around the store at the merchandise for about 5 mins. I then went up front to be seated. I was standing there for about 5 mins and no one came up there. At that time no one came to eat . It was only me there . I waited another 5 mins and still no one came up to seat me. The whole time I was standing there the cashier saw me standing there. She finally ask me if I was waiting to be seated. I told her yes and she did nothing. I was there another 5 mins when the waitress that was working in the front section told me someone would be out soon. I waited another 3 mins and decided to just go and set down hoping someone would wait on me. I have a bad back and that’s why I couldn’t stand there and wait any longer. So the waitress must have went and told someone about it. A person came from the kitchen and ask me what was wrong. I then told her what happened and she tells me, oh we are all in the back because we have a huge order to get out. I did notice that there was a lot of people back there. She did take my order. I ate my food and paid my bill. I’m really shocked that no one cared that I was standing there for that period of time and offered to seat me. I didn’t get any of there names but I can describe them . The cashier was short blonde headed with her hair up, the waitress was tall brown headed wit her hair pulled back with a hair tie and the lady that came from the kitchen was black with long black dreads and short.. I think what happened was wrong and I hope you address it with them and make sure they don’t treat anyone else like they did me.

That country boy breakfast is hard to beat not to mention those pancakes with them crispy edges!!!!

Short staff and one of our co-worker was told she couldn’t or shouldn’t have order there with a the allergic reaction to anything that was cook with meat Grease. Manger was nasty and rude.

Really terrible experience today. I expected a long wait, but an hour for food was a little much. No ice in our cups and they spent most of the time empty. Waitress couldn't figure out splitting the checks and just an overall lack of professionalism across the board. Terrible experience.

We had to leave without eating. Almost an hour, wait to get food, and it was wrong. Wait staff and kitchen need help. We waited too long for 2nd cup of coffee, we weren't the customers that walked our. I knew it would be even longer for corrected food. Manager, perhaps you need more employees or better work strategy for both areas of kitchen and wait staff. I could see the lady was the only wait staff in our area. Not fair to her.
