This is honest to goodness Italian pizza... Well, that's how I've always imagined Italian pizza, anyway. I was told about Desano by a friend several years ago. He said it was the best pizza in Nashville and he was 100% right. If you're debating between Joey's and Desano, go with Desano 100% of the time. The service is friendly and fast. They use ovens that cook the pizzas in around 2 minutes. The crust is thin and has the perfect amount of chewiness. I could literally drink the sauce. I always ask for extra on the side to dip my crust. I'm not usually a fan of meaty pizzas, but I am at Desano. They only use the finest and freshest ingredients. My family normally orders the "Desano". I believe it has pepperoni and sausage delivered from Chicago. The cheese is too good to describe with words. I'm a big foodie so I'm always trying new places, but Desano has been my favorite for years. Simply can't beat it.

If you like wood fired, authentic pizza- this is the place!!! Great pizza, cool causal atmosphere! My kids love to watch them throw the dough!

Our go to spot for pizza in Nashville. This place is one of the best I've had. Simple ingredients, cooked in large wood fired ovens. This is the way pizza was meant to be! I recommend the Margarita pizza. You won't be disappointed. @brianratestheplate

Omg this place is amazing!!! Perfect char on the crust, delicious pepperoni and fresh mushrooms! The absolute best aged balsamic and buffalo mozzarella I've ever had! From a pizza snob, this place is a 10/10
