Hattie B's Hot Chicken Nashville Midtown

We got there right when it opened and there was already a line outside. Tried the mild, medium, and hottest levels. Chicken was good in general but unfortunately the hottest level was only spicy and lacked other flavors. Had to add salt. Loved the Mac n cheese sides, they really don't skimp on the amount of the sides they give! The sweet tea was pure sugar and syrup, definitely mix it with the unsweetened tea before drinking.

One of the best fried I have ever had. I was attending a convention in Nashville when I stumbled upon Hattie B?s. According to some of the articles I have ready this is a must eat. We didn?t realize that this is a very popular place. This is near downtown and so parking in the surrounding area isn?t easy so I figured when we get to the restaurant we will be seated soon. When we got there the line was long and we were told the wait is about 1.5 hrs. Yes and people in-front of us was there for about an hour. Our curiosity made us stay and wait for that long. I have to say it was one of the best fried chicken I?ve ever had. It was spicy, crispy in the outside melts in your mouth juicy fried chicken. All the sides are so good! No wonder people line up for this place. We see people doing takeouts all throughout so perhaps if you?re in town and don?t want to line up do the ordering ahead and pick up your food. I wish they can sell you their seasoning or sauce . I know they ship you the chicken and you just have to fry it yourself. Anyway, when in Nashville check out Hattie B?s.

Phenomenal hot chicken spot that lives up to the hype. The chicken was perfect cooked and very flavorful. Got the sandwich and tenders. Personally preferred the tenders but the bread and slaw on the sandwich was great as well. Their signature sauce perfectly accompanies the flavor of the chicken and their sides. Grits, Mac and cheese, and fries were all great as well. Overall an awesome spot for fried chicken regardless of the fact that it's a chain. Definitely revisiting on my next trip to Nashville.

If you like hot (spicy)chicken, this is a must go! The reputation holds up. It was so good! For a family of 4, you will spend a few bucks, but we'll worth every penny! I would say it was the best hot chicken sandwich I've ever had. My son got the chicken wings and man, they were a meal. I was surprised at how big the wings were. Everything was cooked perfectly! Staff was friendly

Solid 4* Was it worth the wait? probably not. However, the chicken sandwiches did not disappoint and were tasty and fresh. Sides were good as well. Friendly staff and quick service once the order was placed. Definitely enjoyed the Jim Bean Coke slushy.
