Helen's Hot Chicken - Nashville

I was told this place closed down. I've been wanting to try the fruit tea and chicken. I will need to drive by and check out if they are still in business.

Helen 's Hot chicken is gone. The new name is Firecracker Chicken. Possibly the worst food I 've ever experienced. I had to throw mine out after one bite. The counter person spoke very limited English and didn 't not understand my questions; like do you have a boneless hot chicken? She said yes and we got the greasiest bone-in chicken breast I 've ever seen. They have a very small menu and were out of at least 2 of the entrees. Terrible food....never ever again.

It's not Helen's Hot Chicken, new name is Fire Cracker Chicken. Not bad, my wife had mild and mine was a little hotter, both good. Came with one side, pickles, bread and a drink. Interior of the restaurant is very basic.

Hovering between a 2 and a 3 but it was just too bland. Chicken was moist but the spices just not interesting. Me loves hot chicken but methinks this ones is not for me.

They have great customer service even better chicken. Changing my review because I called last night three times and this afternoon more than 11 times with no answer.... It takes 15-30mins to prepare.... I should be able to call in my order like i have in the past to avoid the wait.....
