Pizza was paper thin and so soggy you couldn't pick it up to eat and there was no silverware. Would have been happier with a .79 frozen Totinos pizza. Will never go back!
This place reeks of touristy. The service was acceptable if not a bit surly- I get the sense that these are kids who hate that they have to earn a living. The pizza was mediocre- I'm not sure why they call it New York style. The crust is thin. Our pie was sparsely populated with toppings and the middle was soggy. The crust on the edge was crispy like a cracker but dry and flavorless. Don't go out of your way to come here. It's a late night eat here because you're too tired to walk anywhere else kind of place.
Great pizza if you like New York style . The caprese salad was not the traditional type so disappointed with that. Other things on the menu i don't know about. Service was great. The place was packed on a Friday night.
I can't believe there are so many bad reviews. We love Luigi's and have been here many times. The pizza is great! I noticed that many of the bad reviews mentioned items other than pizza. It's a pizza place, says it right in the name. I haven't ventured too far from the pizza other than salads and mozzarella sticks. Those were great too. The beer is cold. The vibe is funky. The music was good. Each booth has a TV so great for watching games. My only complaint is sometimes the service is slow and twice we've been seated in the ONE booth with a broken TV. Oh well, the pizza makes up for it.
My wife had the Stromboli which was pretty good. I had the Italian Beef sub which was horrible. You expect it to be mostly beef but there were more peppers than beef.
