All the time I was there, I coughed and fought against the one to sneak out of the kitchen! the place must be badly ventilated! I sat near the cooktop, but as small as the place is, I doubted every place would have muted me before the atem in smoke from the kitchen out of the outside I was also disappointed that I did not order oysters steamed or cooked any other wise only raw! this with a note on the menu warning of the consumption of raw or under-cooked seafood! I love steamed oysters and would have loved some. I do not eat raw oysters or any other type of seafood or meat raw the salat I got what gave the opportunity to scallops or grilled...read more
Great ousters pork burger. I recommend this place a bit out of the way, but the drive worth. try it as a hole in the wall. great service.
My new favorite place in East Nashville. I was blown away so much in fact that I returned twice a day. Someone told me to order a lobster roll. I came at noon, sat on her beautiful small terrace and did. Let me tell you it wasn't disappointed. There were huge pieces filled with fresh and delicious lobster until the maximum in a brioche roll with a lemon aloli. It was remarkable. I felt like I was teleported to Maine. Legit, very nother level. I told my wife about it, and she wanted to try, so we went back to a late dinner. She got the lobster roll, and I decided to turn it over and try the fried oyster-po boy. Again, big slam. Tons of oysters fried bread, aoli and southernly picked Chow Chow on a baguette. As a side I have the Speck Brussel sprinkler and that was also amazing. The taste of the bacon they use is simply unbelievable, you can taste every delicious minute that it was smoked (I'm sure in the house . Finally we ordered the hearty bread pudding with the same bacon as the Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes and a kind of sweet glaze. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten in all 29 years of my existence. I'm a little annoying here, but I can't go over this place enough! If you weren't here, go! You'll be so happy that you did it. (Disclaimer: You only make the lobster roll on the weekend.
We had our first visit last night, and this could be my new swarm! Oysters are a little expensive... but spectacular. Lachs ceviche was on point! And her house sangria was original and delicious (white/watermelon/mint). We sat on the terrace and loved the vibe. We can't wait to go back and try more.
