Ellington's

While all entrees that our group of 4 ordered were very good, I was very disappointed in the service we received from our waiter. We arrived for our 5:30 reservation and were all seated by 5:35. We had a table on the terrace which was nice. It took a while for our waiter to come back out and ask about drinks. We said we needed a bit more time. I mentioned then that 2 of us had to leave at 7 for a concert. About 10 minutes later he reappeared to take drink orders. We also gave him our food orders which was just 4 entrees, no additional sides and no starters. At 6:22 we still had not received our food. I believe it was after 6:30 before it arrived. At 6:47 we had to look for him. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and I had hoped to get some dessert. When he finally stopped by I asked if desserts were quick he had to return inside for the dessert menus. By that time it was too late. If the restaurant had been full I could have given him some slack. But there was only one other table of 3 outside and when we left at 7 I saw many empty tables. For us service trumps food so while the food was very good the disappointing service will cause us to think twice about returning. Sorry.

The service was impeccable. They made my 21st birthday dinner a night to remember. The little details like putting the napkin down on our laps matter to this establishment. The food was outstanding and the cocktails were the best I had during my weekend visiting Nashville. Overall the quality of the food compared to the price was extremely generous. I will be visiting this place again.

The Filet was the best steak we've ever had, and you can't beat that for the price point they've set! The goat butter (came with the Parker house rolls) was also fantastic, I wanted to eat it with a spoon! This restaurant is a hidden gem, not too busy on a Saturday night, with great food and prices!

My husband and I rarely get to experience restaurants like this due to the cost associated.We happened to win a voucher that helped so we took advantage of this and the experience was awesome I ordered the steak and my husband ordered chicken. He says his was great. I think it was the best steak I've ever had and the fries were addictive!Service was friendly and super sweet. Would go back if I have the chance.

Didn't think the restaurant was very good, but the parking experience was awful. Drove an expensive luxury car and checked mileage before I left it with the hotel Valet. Parking lot is by the hotel, but the Valet drove the car almost 2 miles. The next day I called and reported it to the Fairlane and also emailed the manager of the valet company. Didn't get any reply or return call from either. Will not go back.
