Helen's Hot Chicken

Great chicken with an awesome, home felt staff. Do not pass up the coleslaw, best I've ever had with none other coming close.

Came here yesterday with my partner, we had to check Helen's out because the smell from outside was amazing! Kind and attentive staff, the nice lady at the register took care of us. We ordered an 8 piece wingette meal, hot with okra and pickles and comes with two pieces of white bread, and drink of choice from the cooler. A stream of grease dripped from my chicken wing as I proceeded to eat it… Ughhhh!! I left the other two pieces for the garbage!!!! The place had dirty mops and mop buckets out for display!! I gave this place a second chance after my first visit a year ago. Never again!!

Better than Hattie B, skin was so crispy and flavorful. The “Hot” level of spice was just right. And the white bread was very high quality

This was my first Nashville hot chicken experience, and it…was…fire!!! As in, delicious! I love how the heat is in the chicken skin and is crispy yet juicy at the same time. I love that the chicken is cooked to order. It was definitely hot (temperature) and fresh. Service was also on point.
