Food They served us complimentary salted popcorn as an appetizer. It took a while for the food to come out. Gising Gising one of the best I've tried. The balance between the sweet gata and spicy chili is just right. But we requested for it to be less spicy. Kare Kare the peanut butter sauce is tasty. There were a lot of vegetables. Sadly, the beef is tough. Served with a sode of bagoong Chicken Inasal pretty average chicken. 1 order is 5 pieces. Calamansi juice freshly squeezed juice and it's a bit sour. Atmosphere We ate at lunchtime, so it's a bit hot.
Having breakfast here was a great decision. They offer a variety of American and Filipino options, all served with a side of fruit and coffee. We opted for the Batangas barako coffee, which was prepared in a French press. It was fresh and incredibly flavorful. Our food arrived warm, in a timely manner, and was perfectly portioned. I felt satisfied but couldn’t get enough of that excellent coffee. The atmosphere was lovely—clean and open-air. I will definitely keep coming back whenever we're in the area.
Very relaxing place. The property is surrounded by big trees, palms and variety of plants like in a botanical garden. The few hotel rooms are clean, new tastefully decorated with some native materials and beautiful art works. There is an infinity pool and football field. Food is good generally and reasonable. Staff are efficient and friendly.
Good food. The place has a wonderful feel. Some dishes are a bit pricey but overall an enjoyable experience.
