My mum had the blue berry scone with lemon curd and cream and I had the smoked salmon, avocado and cream cheese bagel. The food was prepared very quickly and the service was good. There is a variety of things to choose from but they are in the cool box in the cafe so they may not be made fresh
To my delight, the coffee was hot, surprisingly strong, and full of flavor. It truly was a great cup, thanks to the skilled barista. Thank you! - Phuong Tran
This was my first visit to Jamaica Blue, and I was quite impressed. A friend and I stopped by for morning tea, where we each enjoyed a warm scone and some English Breakfast tea. The scones were delightful and served warm without any prompting. As for the tea, it was just as you’d expect. The service was refreshingly friendly without feeling forced. I’ve unexpectedly become a fan!
The prices were quite reasonable for a cafe, with the dish costing $16.90 and the latte $3.50. The Blue Latte was visually impressive! Even better, it tasted fantastic; it’s not just a pretty drink! It was a Jaffa-flavored hot beverage made with white chocolate and blue curacao, delivering a unique and enjoyable flavor without being overly sweet. The drink was smooth—not too creamy or milky—making it easy to enjoy without an overwhelming chocolate flavor. I definitely recommend giving it a try! The “Avocado Smash Maple Bacon” was quite intriguing. I typically avoid sweet breakfast items, so I was a bit unsure about the addition of maple syrup. However, all the flavors surprisingly came together beautifully. The onions, tomatoes, coriander, and lemon salsa complemented the creamy avocado and the richness of the poached egg yolk on top of the sourdough toast. The staff were friendly, and the food arrived quickly. The cafe is situated in a quieter corner, allowing for a peaceful atmosphere with fewer patrons. I appreciated the privacy it provided, along with a nice view of people passing by in the shopping center.
